The Library 2.0 Gang is a regular monthly round-table podcast hosted by Richard Wallis, joined by several contributors drawn from a pool of regulars from the world of libraries and the technologies that influence them, to discuss the topics of the day.

Each month The Gang will be joined by a guest relevant to one of the topics under discussion.

Gang Regular: Oren Beit-Arie

Oren Beit Arie

Oren has been deeply involved in the design and the development of all Ex Libris products. In 2000, Oren led Ex Libris’ e-resources strategy with the introduction of the SFX link resolver and the development of the OpenURL standard. Most recently, Oren has been deeply involved in Primo as part of his responsibility for the overall research and strategic activities of the company. Oren is also actively involved in a range of industry and standards setting activities.

Oren earned a BS in mathematics and computer science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MA in theoretical linguistics from Tel Aviv University.
